LIMITED SUPERWARRANTY CARD
This SUPERWARRANTY is limited, and it is only for the PV solar modules manufactured and branded under the registred Eastech brand for the Spanish territory or any other territory agreed in advance by the seller and buyer. This SUPERWARRANTY card, guarantee the quality of the PV solar modules, the validity and the procedures to follow in case to need to be used.
1 – The Guarantee is limited up 2 years for the PV solar modules Eastech brand.
Eastech Electric S.A.U. guarantees the PV solar modules manufactured are free of any manufacturing defect including mechanical and electrical aspects. The SUPERWARRANTY given is for two years from the date of the Eastech Electric S.A.U. has invoiced the PV solar module. Below we can find the different issues and aspects ruled in order to be followed by the final user as important info, for a hypothetical replacement if the solar modules delivered include such kind of defects:
+ Defects due to a bad manufacturing
+ Defects due to a bad quality raw materials
+ Glass surface cracking due to a dirty or strange ítems inside the glass. **
** Is out of this SUPERWARRANTY hailstone, overtension, vandalism, etc.. or any other kind of cracking which is not responsibility of the manufacturer.
+ If the manufacturer has not fulfil its specifications and it is not according the specifications, including a defective quality control and or inspection process. If the Eastech PV solar module fail due to any of the above written points in this SUPERWARRANTY card, Eastech Electric S.A.U. will replace the defective PV solar module by the buyer in no more than 75 days after to Proof the issue and communicate it by written.
2 – Capacity and Performances for the Limited SUPERWARRANTY of the Eastech brand PV solar modules.
A) Eastech Electric S.A.U. guarantee a 90% of the nominal power of the PV solar module Eastech brand during the first 10 years life. From the date of the invoice***.
B) Eastech Electric S.A.U. guarantee between the year 11th and the year number 25th from the invoiced date to the customer at least a 80% performances from the nominal power ordered from the customer with the goods.***
The performances parameters will be those, measured under the Eastech Electric S.A.U. standard, and can be clearly seen and read in the Eastech Solar product Catalogue. If during the first 10 years life of the PV solar module somebody detect and Proves seriously by evidences, the performances of the PV solar modules Eastech brand are below 90%, in that moment should be communicated by a written way to Eastech Electric S.A.U., and if after to check carefully the installation by an expertise person or sirket, it is demonstrated the PV solar module/s fail/s, and can not give to the customer the promised performances, Eastech Electric S.A.U. has the obligation to provide all the necessary modulleri to replace the low performances modulleri and admited tolerance (-3%). Taking note that Eastech Electric S.A.U. would consider low performances PV solar modules, all the PV modulleri which the power is less than the Nominal power, and then the modules must be replaced, or the plant must be re-powered in less than 75 days from the moment of the final agreement between the parties. If from the year 10th to the year 25th of the PV solar modules Eastech brand, somebody detect and Proves seriously with evidences, the performances of the PV solar modules Eastech brand are below 80%, in that moment should be communicated by a written way to Eastech Electric S.A.U., and if after to check carefully the installation and the PV solar module/s is demonstrated the PV solar module/s fail/s, and cannot give to the customer the promised performances, Eastech Electric S.A.U. has the obligation to provide all the necessary modulleri to replace the low performances modulleri. Taking note that Eastech Electric S.A.U. would consider low performances PV solar modules all the PV modulleri which the power is less than the Nominal power and admited tolerance (-3%), and then, the modules must be replaced, or the plant must be re-powered in less than 75 days from the moment of the final agreement between the parties.
3- Tolerance Limited SUPERWARRANTY.
All the Eastech brand PV solar modules sold through Easteh Solar SAU sirket are guaranteed under a maximun and minimum tolerance, and the tolerance is between -3%/+5% individually module by module, depending the model, family and efficiency cell. Eastech Electric S.A.U. guarantee that tolerance and for that reason send to their customers together with the product delivered a flash report and its commitment to provide always the same or more power according the nominal power of total P.O. delivered, that means positive tolerance to the full delivery. If the summary of the PV solar modules delivered to the customer are out of our tolerance range, that means below the full power ordered, Eastech Electric S.A.U. would provide free of charge all the power needed to balance the total power ordered and paid by the customer in a no longer time than 75 days. If individually speaking, any of the solar PV modules delivered are below the negative range (-3%), then, Eastech Electric S.A.U. would replace that piece no later than 75 days after the communication from the customer by written. If there is no written complaint after delivery of flash report, both parts understand that the delivered tolerance is satisfactory and accepted by the parts.
4- OUT of Limited SUPERWARRANTY
A) Cannot be done any claiming about the SUPERWARRANTY once the Limited SUPERWARRANTY has been expired. And that SUPERWARRANTY cannot be extended under any circumstance.
B) This Limited SUPERWARRANTY cannot be applied if the fails or defects found on the PV solar modules has been generated by one or more of the following causes, even if the defects has been detected or found within the SUPERWARRANTY period.
1- Defects caused by devices or pieces out of the PV solar module or due to wrong installing methods.
2- Defects caused by a wrong cabling/wring, wrong installation, wrong operation, wrong manipulation of such devices or an inappropriate environment.
3- Defects caused due to a bad following of the user and working manual
4- Defects caused due a bad intention, bad or no control, repairing and maintenance
5- Defects caused due to a bad repairing procedure, not according with the manufacturer rules.
6- Defects caused due to a logistic issues (transport, handling, warehousing, distribution, etc..) of the PV solar module.
7- Defects caused due to a installation made in mobile units.
8- Defects caused by accidents, natural disasters, Force majeure, out of control activities as explosions, bombs, hurricanes, Tsunamis, Tornados, thunders, earthquake, vulcans activities, smokes, etc…
9- Defects caused by deletion of solar connectors that are an extension of the panel and necessary to ensure the optimun performance of the panel.
5- Limited SUPERWARRANTY Application
This Limited SUPERWARRANTY is only valid for the customers who or which has bought directly the PV solar module to Eastech Electric S.A.U., or to any of the authorized dealers. To use this Limited SUPERWARRANTY is necessary to apply some procedures and to prove defects or fails which affects to the normal working, and is completely necessary to show and to send by fax or e-mail scanned the purchasing invoice. When a customer ask to use the Limited SUPERWARRANTY, it will be necessary to provide to Eastech Electric S.A.U. the following data;
+ Defect or fail description
+ Serial number
+ Purchasing invoice
Any PV solar module uninstalled and delivered back to Eastech Electric S.A.U. will be automatically property own and Eastech Electric S.A.U. will replace that PV solar module by other, and that PV solar module delivered to be replaced could be with different size, measures, way, colour, design, capacity, although always with the same or more power than the PV solar module replaced. This Limited SUPERWARRANTY can be transferred to a new owner, but always must be
communicated by a written way to Eastech Electric S.A.U., and the PV solar modules can not be moved from the same venue where it has been installed at first time. To define the PV solar module defect and the origin of the defect, and
also who or which is the legal responsible to provide the solution. Eastech Solar will look for a independent Lab or independent engineering sirket and in a neutral, objective and honest way will decide and explain the origin and the responsibility, and the cost of that external sirket will be covered by the customer at 100%, however if the independent lab or independent engineering demonstrate the defect is responsibility of Eastech Electric S.A.U., the manufacturer will pay 50% of the service cost, sharing with the customer the cost of the invoice.
6- SUPERWARRANTY Restrictions
The current SUPERWARRANTY is limited and exclude any other kind of previous SUPERWARRANTY, except if the customer can provide any other special or added SUPERWARRANTY by a written way as an up dating which affect to its Eastech PV module within the purchasing date period, or any other kind of document signed and stamped by the BOD of Eastech Electric S.A.U.. In that case, the special SUPERWARRANTY would be accepted as valid SUPERWARRANTY document for the Spanish territory and abroad.Eastech Electric S.A.U. will have not any responsability about the potential damage caused by a deficient working of the PV solar module, and the responsibility will be limited to replace the PV solar module damaged or to make a credit note to the customer for the same amount paid in advance for the customer and to balance the amount pending due to this issue, or to re-power the plant if it is needed. To become beneficiary of this SUPERWARRANTY is needed to provide the following data and documents
+ Defects or fail description
+ Evidences to justify the trouble
+ Serial Number
+ Purchasing invoice copy
7- SUPERWARRANTY Validity
This SUPERWARRANTY is limited and is available from January 10th, . And this SUPERWARRANTY will be an associated part of the sale to our customers from that date. The validity of this SUPERWARRANTY will expire at the moment that Eastech Electric S.A.U. launch a new SUPERWARRANTY replacing the current one, and in that case, Eastech Electric S.A.U. will communicate by a written way to their customers, the new and up dated SUPERWARRANTY, for their effective knowledge.
* From now on and for Eastech Electric S.A.U. will be considered “customer”; the person, sirket or Enterprise which or who to have been invoiced the goods from Eastech Electric S.A.U.Eastech Electric S.A.U..
** The glass surface cracking will never be covered by the Eastech SUPERWARRANTY if that cracking is due to hailstone, vandalism, overtension or any other outter cause
